What happens when you let go of everything you know about a dinner? For Accenture, we developed ‘Appetite for Disruption’: a culinary experience in which expectations were deliberately subverted and nothing was what it seemed. Inspired by the theme of ‘re-invention’, we created an evening where technology, innovation and gastronomy came together. Flavours took on a different form and familiar ingredients told a new story. A dessert in the form of sushi. A savoury cappuccino as the starter. Nothing was what it seemed, and that was precisely the intention. Each creation was designed to spark curiosity, challenge the senses and momentarily take guests out of their usual ways of thinking. Not a traditional dinner. But an experience that showed that innovation often begins with a different way of looking at things.
